Folktale Winery Wedding: Carmel, California

The Folktale Winery in Carmel, CA is one of my favorite venues I’ve photographed a wedding at! Tucked away in the foothills of Carmel. It feels very private and secluded, and is so beautiful. And the barrel room for the reception- don’t get me started. I loved shooting this wedding alongside Peter Amend, this couple decided to go a little non traditional and embrace their love for food and wine with their wedding- the dinner was nearly 3 hours long, multiple courses- plenty of time for good conversation amongst your table companions. After dinner they opted out of having a dance party (since the dinner lasted so long) and instead took things outside back into the vineyard for fireside snacks and s’mores. Love their style, loved this day!
